We’ve been through more than one other automation package and were never happy.  Why should we try it again? 

Although it’s easy for us to say, you should try again – because VirtuWill is different from any other package you’ve ever used.  In fact, VirtuWill was developed in large part as a reaction against the things you didn’t like in previous systems.  VirtuWill is intuitive, simple, and to-the-point.  You’ll like it, plain and simple, or get your license fees back.

A custom system must cost a fortune.  How much can I expect to spend? 

To start with, when you consider the amount you spent on computers and printers for you, your secretary, a paralegal, and maybe even an associate, plus the suite of Microsoft software as well, then even another $5,000 is not much – especially if it will create incredible efficiencies in your practice. Every custom system will necessarily be different.  We will give you a best-guess estimate once we understand the scope of services you need.

Will this software run with WordPerfect? 

No.  You must be using Microsoft Word 2007 or 2010.

What about operating systems? 

We recommend Microsoft Windows XP or Windows 7.  (Um, it is 2013 . . .)

We have a network.  Will VirtuWill run under a network? 

Yes.  We will work with your IT professionals to get the system running on your system.  In fact, we’ll check compatibility before we even get started.  In most cases, it won’t be a problem.

What about support – and what does it cost? 

At this point, we provide our own support.  Truth is, aside from training, working out the inevitable bugs in custom systems, and requests for additional customization, you won’t need much support.  We provide a detailed manual on the operations of the software.  If you still need help, just call or email and we’ll be back with you ASAP.  We do not impose an annual maintenance fee, but rather charge for support on an hourly basis at $200 per hour, minimum 1/2 hour charge per call.  If we must come on site, we will bill you for travel time and reasonable expenses – but usually problems can be worked through on the telephone.
